reiki for bringing ease into life.

'We do not have to go anywhere to obtain the truth. We only need to be still and things will reveal themselves in the clear water of our heart.'
This beautiful quote is from Thich Nhat Hanh, Vietnamese Buddhist monk & peace activist.

Many of us are carrying a lot and our work-life balance can get a bit out of whack. Living in these challenging times, it can be helpful to ease some of the tension and renew connection to heart and soul.

Having a skilled guide to help you navigate your way through life’s challenges can be helpful.

As a Holistic Counsellor and Healer, I can offer people the support to take time out, to reflect on and process some of the difficulties showing up for them, to then return to life a little stronger and lighter than before.

The sessions I offer are holistic and integrative – responding to the needs of the individual with a combination of modalities, such as Counselling, Reiki, Flower Essences, Meditation, and Inner Child Work.

One of the key modalities I use is the healing art of Reiki. You may have heard of Reiki, perhaps have experienced it in a healing session - or may even be trained in it.

Originating in Japan, it is known as a hands-on energy healing modality, gentle and non-invasive.  The word Reiki translates from Japanese as ‘universal life force energy’, or the ‘energy of the universe and the earth’.

Reiki is part of a greater ecosystem of energy healing practices where we can offer ourselves the space to calm the mind and gain relief from stress, in order to restore and heal. It can help reduce the internal suffering brought on by stress and difficulties faced in life, opening the way to greater self-awareness and clarity for a way forward in life.

Reiki can offer you the opportunity to bring things down a notch, make some inner space, and assist you to find clarity in your life.

Thich Nhat Hanh : ‘Allow the relaxation to take place. There is no healing without relaxation. Relaxation means doing nothing. The practice of non-practice.’

Along with reflective practices, it can be a support toward gaining insights about where things aren’t going so well and where different choices might be more helpful.

If you’re carrying a lot in your life; if you are in pain, emotionally, physically; if you’re feeling troubled, reach out for a session with me.

I am continuing to offer sessions throughout the December and January during the holiday season.
